Zoo time!

Sorry it is has been oh so long! We got to go to the zoo this Monday and we had a GREAT time! Asher was in total awe! He loves to "roar" like a lion and anytime he sees one in a book or on tv he drops everything and "ROARS" in his sweet little way. When we got to the lion at the zoo Asher was shocked to see a real lion and thought it was awesome! He also moves his arm up by his face like a trunk and makes his elephant noise and when he saw the elephants he watched them for a minute then looked at me and got a HUGE smile and pointed to the elephants and did his elephant imitation and then pointed to them again then imitated them again- he could not get over it! When we got to the aquarium he was sooooo excited about the fish that he would run as fast as his little legs could go from one tank to another- it was adorable. The other moment he surprised me at was when we got to the polar bear he pointed to it and said "Ha! A bear!" I was very happy to see that the things he reads and sees he connects to real animals. We had a great day all in all and the kids did great even though none of them slept until we left!

It was hot so we had to stay hydrated!

So we had a really great day. I was pretty sick and had to go to Med Express once we got home and I had a very bad bacterial infection in my throat but am feeling SO much better now, they gave me very strong meds and they helped very quickly!
