L'shanah tovah tikatev v'taihatem! Which means "for a good year" which is what you say to each other during this time of the Jewish feasts. Last night began Rosh Hashanah. A lot of people say this is the 'jewish' version of the New Year, but really this is a time to look past over the year and look forward to the coming year. Rosh Hashanah is followed by the ten days of awe which are followed by Yom Kippur which is a time of fasting and repentance. Traditionally Yom Kippur is belived to be the one day a year where you are atoned for your sins. But since we have a savior who died for us and took our sins upon himself we can go to Him daily, even by the minute to repent and be freed from our sins. This time of the year is important to remember all that God has done for us and continues to do. I am always nostaligic this time of year. So much goes on from now through January! It is non stop. But even though things get busy I do not want to forget the promises of our Father. I pray you are all blessed in this coming season and I pray that you take the time to go before Him and really allow Him to touch you!
Loves to all!
