Asher had his follow up appointment today and he weighs the same as when we left the hospital, which is only one ounce less than his birth weight so that is fantastic! He shrunk an inch but that is because of his head rounding out and forming. His circumcision is completely healed so that is great! I felt so bad for the little guy-but he is all better now!
He is doing so good! His days and nights are mixed up so I was exhausted beginning this week- of course that is to be expected! He has done GREAT yesterday and today- last night he slept in 3 hour increments so I was able to sleep for more than 45 minutes at a time, plus I am adjusting so I am not jumping up at every little noise he makes. Today he did super and took a 3 hour nap so I slept too and then we took another hour nap and now he is fed and the doctor wants us to keep him up from 7-11 pm and then let him go to sleep and he said this will help switch his nights and days really quickly.
Aaron and I continue to adjust and love being this little guys parents! Thank you all for your support and prayers- we so need them!
