seriously cannot stand the health system

OK so I had to go into the doctors today for a check up and to be put on the monitor to make sure baby and I are ok. I got there at 9 am and the stuck me on the monitor- after about a half hour the nurse comes and gets the paper, takes it to the doc and reports back to me that the doc wants to see more movement so she gets me some ginger ale to see if that helps the baby move. I am sitting there thinking- ok so you are going to sugar up the baby.....isn't that kind of manipulating the test? So the baby does start moving alot and then the doc gets all concerned because the heart rate is up...DUH!!!! So she decides to send me over to labor and delivery to get monitored over there and also to get an ultrasound to check that there are enough fluids.

So by now it is nearly 11am. So I go over get in a gown, climb in a bed and they start monitoring me. A nurse was coming in about every 20 minutes and then over an hour went by and no one came in to check on me. I was just about to call a nurse when two come in with a wheelchair to take me for the ultrasound. Ultra sound went fine (and no I did not sneak to see what the sex is!) but took over an hour from the time I left my room until I got back to it. So the nurse leaves my room while I was in the bathroom and I end up sitting there for an HOUR with no monitor on, no nurse checking on me nothing. It is now 2:30 and I call the nurse and tell her I have been waiting an hour, I am not hooked up to the monitor and I don't know why I am still just sitting there- she tells me someone will be right there. 35 minutes later in comes a nurse. Good thing for me she was the head nurse and got ticked off when she realized no one hooked me back up and that I had had nothing to eat or drink since that morning.
So I get hooked back up, she brings me a bunch of food and finally at 3:45 the doctor comes in and announces all happily "The baby looks just great!" I wanted to scream "THEN WHY HAVE I BEEN HERE FOR 5 HOURS???" Instead I just smiled and clenched my teeth.

Then just to make things better they tried to change the date for my induction AGAIN for NO reason. NO medical reason- just because "they don't normally induce on Fridays" Are you kidding me?!?!? I have about had it with these people!!

So I am tired after my fun pointless day and still preggers! So unless baby comes soon we go in Thursday at 8pm to start induction.
